Hi-5: Animal Adventures, Vol. 5

Great DVD, bad information
My child is almost addicted to this show, so I didn't regret for buying it, but the editorial review said that it contains "Ready or not" and "Living in a rainbow" and that is not true. This dvd comes with "So many animals", "Underwater discovery" and "North, South, East and West". For me that makes a little bit of a problem because i'm trying to get all the songs with the few dvd's at possible ;).

Great DVD, poor editing
My daughter loves this DVD. It keeps her attention, and allows me to get a few things done. I don't mind the songs either. The tunes are catchy. I like that all the segments are about animals. The editing of the video is poor.

Instant Classic for Kids
Both my kids ages 3 and 1 love Hi-5, but this DVD instantly became their favourite. So much fun for them and extended play is great for long car rides. Also, not one of these kids DVDs that gets annoying for parents to listen to over and over.

Punky Brewster: Season Four

Our unforgettable "Spunky Punky" is back for one last round on DVD!
Although the considerable delay between this DVD set and Season 3 (which was released well over a year ago, in July 2006) was enough to concern some people, the fourth and final season of "Punky Brewster" will officially put hard-core fans at ease! We've had to wait almost two years to get this, but now that it's been announced for February 26 (right around Valentine's Day!) there's plenty to look forward to.

"Punky" certainly has maintained a solid fan base over the years, with plenty of grown adults eager to revisit the episodes, as well as legions of contemporary kids, whose parents can be assured that each show is thirty minutes of innocent, lighthearted fluff. Of course, those adults who loved the show as children will be hard-pressed to watch it now without cringing a little at the shameless sap packed into every episode. In addition, the plot (although entirely sweet) has very little plausibility, when you consider that it involves a girl abandoned by both of her...

I'm so happy to have the 4th and final season of this awesome 80s show. I can't wait to see these episodes. I'm the same age as Soleil and grew up watching Punky Brewster, this is just part of my childhood. Thank you Shout Factory!

Thank god! One of the greatest family shows ever
Like many other Punky fans, I'm thrilled to see the final season finally coming to DVD. After all there was alot of speculation that shout factory lost the rights and we may never see this final season. Thankfully they still do have the rights and we will see this final season (complete with more punky cartoons).

The Smurfs - Season One, Vol. One

Uncut and remastered.
The 80's gave us a golden age of Saturday morning cartoons. I can't think of any other era that had such a wide variety of different themes and approaches. These days most shows fall into the Japanese anime/card game genre. Back then you had several genres. One of them was the child friendly, parent approved, sugary sweet cutesy cartoons. The Smurfs has to be the top of the heap of those shows. The reason being was good production values and solid pacing of their stories which makes even a sedate and "safe" show fun to watch.

My first experience with the Smurfs wasn't this television. In fact my first exposure to the little blue creatures were in the form of little plastic figurines sold at the local Hallmark card store. I only knew of them as different little blue guys who wore different clothes that apparently denoted their profession or interest (I personally had the Karate Smurf and the Police Smurf) and they were created by somebody named Peyo (according to box that...

AWESOME!!
I randomly did an amazon search for smurfs dvd just now, and it looks like we will FINALLY see an official US release of this cartoon next year. The only thing that makes me hesitate to buy this is that it is season one volume one. I wonder if Turner is planning to release a special edition "complete series" box set at a later date.

If they were smart, the publisher would sell each of these dvd's with limited edition smurf figurines.

Sweet Lingerie & Naughty Nights

Little lingerie
I ordered this DVD because it had Erin Avery. Six women in eight scenes all solo. Erin was in two as was Carli Banks. A couple women aren't as open as the others but the show is a winner.

good show but pricey
I really enjoyed this but just the price was alittle too high just for some unique show, I would buy it if it was less than 10 bucks other than that I had some fun with this

2008 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl

Ha Ha Ha
Evertime I have the opprotunity to sit down for three hours and watch Oklahoma get there tails kicked, I will. It is now a proven fact that Oklahoma can no longer win the big game. Ahhh happy days are here again.

Have no doubt, it IS widescreen!
I'm not sure what the other reviewer was talking about, but this DVD is definitely anamorphic 16:9 widescreen.

For any Mountaineer fan, this DVD is a must own, as the 2008 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl is arguably the greatest bowl win for WVU. The 2006 Sugar Bowl was good, but too close to enjoy until the game was over. WVU just dominated Oklahoma the whole time in this one. Considering the Mountaineers were coming off of the worst defeat in the school's history and the acrimonious departure of their head coach, all of the odds were stacked against them. However, with the contributions of Pat White, Noel Devine, folk hero Owen Schmitt, and the rest of the team under the leadership of Bill Stewart, WVU proved 49 out of 50 states wrong in their predictions and sent a definitive signal that Big East football is incredibly underrated.

In all fairness, I might want to rate this DVD four stars, but I do feel compelled to counteract the other guy who reviewed the DVD before...

Ummm... full screen?
Let me check, what year is this. Oh yeah, its 2008! Why in heaven is this not offered in Widescreen format? What were these people thinking? Im def not going to get this unless it comes out in widescreen. Just another example of a bad decision by execs who are not in touch with the customer.
